-30 CELSIUS IN TORONTO - CAMERAS IN THE COLD

Sometimes going out with a camera on the coldest days can be so inspiring. Everything is covered in ice, the temperature forces me to work really fast, choose the images fast and I must move fast or freeze. It can all happen in 20-25 minutes. The crystal clear light produced a hard shadow that ran in front of this wave.

Post production was done by uploading the RAW file to Adobe Lightroom to do basic adjustments (and cropping) then launching it into NIK Analog Efex 2....this gave me the dreamlike effect that I wanted for this image ie the palette and slight blurring. Then I bring it back into LR for the final touches.
