STORM IN TORONTO

In the City of Toronto, Canada, snow storms come in many forms. Before this storm the temperature was about -15C with a strong wind. You see it's the wind factor that really makes some snow much more dramatic than others; that transforms a snow fall into a snow storm. On this night we were leading a group of 10 students that were crazy enough to enroll in the Night Photography course that I teach 4 -5 times per year. This storm took place in the end of January, often the coldest time of the year in Toronto. We were out shooting in this storm for about three hours....I salute the bravery of that insane group....totally captivated by the sheer beauty of what they were photographing, they kept going despite some fairly challenging weather conditions for the City.
