INSIDE THE NEW YORK PUBLIC LIBRARY - 2013

INSIDE THE NEW YORK PUBLIC LIBRARY - 2013
The New York Public Library in Manhattan is a photographers dream. From the massive scale of the building to the endless solid marble rooms and hallways, this place is a visual marvel. As I walked around I felt like I was inside a live Escher drawing. As opposed to my home town (Toronto) where everywhere you turn photography is forbidden, the NYPL staff are very welcoming and allowed photography everywhere in the building, just as they did in Grand Central Station, the Post Office Building (amazing place!), and The New York Bus Terminal Building.

Toronto needs to chill on it's self important and pretentious security stance which turns photographers away from photographing the urban sites of the City.
