TEXTILE DISTRICT - TORONTO

untitled - Toronto
©Michael G. O'Brien 1997
Shooting with Kodak Tri-X film produces gorgeous tones that print well in an enlarger or scan well to print ink jet. This image was made during the nineties when I had a 'day job' that paid me lots of money to drive around Toronto. I usually carried with me my Nikon FM2 with a 35mm lens mounted on it. This storefront drew me to it and as I made a few exposures the owners came running out to scream at me...some people are threatened by having their 'things' photographed by strangers.
